Probably the most difficult tutorial to score platinum in. I tried different routes but I think the best route is to go anti-clockwise small, clockwise medium, anti-clockwise small, anti-clockwise large, clockwise medium and repeat it. If you’re using manual, I would recommend second gear for both the large and medium donuts and first gear for the small donut. You need 110000pts for platinum which means 11 ‘perfect’ 10000pts drifts. You may be able to get away with 12 drifts with two or three being less than 10000pts if you’re fast about it. If you’re having trouble visualising where to drift exactly, turn on the ‘tricksteer visual aid’. This is required to unlock the ‘Teachers Pet’ achievement as shown at the end of the video. 720p Quality Available.
3ds max, reactor beginner tutorial Car crashing through a wall using reactor, only for max 7 or up uses, no modeling required For the people who do not have the left reactor toolbar, follow these steps: On the top toolbar click customize then customize user interface. Once the new window opens, click on the toolbars tab, there should be a list box, on default it should say Axis Constraints, change it to Reactor, it should be set to hide, untick hide and we now have the left reactor toolbar.
This tutorial covers the basics of creating a side-scroller game in Flash using ActionScript 3.0. The side-scroller created in this tutorial is a bare minimum and does not implement advanced concepts such as optimizing collision detection and instantiating stage assets based on external data files.
Watch the entire course at www.lynda.com Maya 2011: Creating Textures and Shaders with Eric Keller shows how to create textures and materials, and then apply them to models to render realistic surfaces. The course covers working with the mental ray shading nodes, including the mental images architectural node, subsurface scattering nodes, occlusion, and car paint shaders, as well as how to incorporate these nodes into shading networks using the Hypershade editor. It also explores using textures, Maya software nodes, normal maps, and displacement maps for adding detail to models. Video Rating: 5 / 5
In this third and final part of the video, I will be showing you how to make your background scrolling and make your character have the ability to move left and right with the proper scrolling background.
